Bedlam FallTasting notes >
Bedlam Fall
Fall - Red Ale (4.6%)

A transatlantic hybrid - European malts give body and a bright copper colour, hops from the US celebrity list: Citra, Simcoe, Columbus and Amarillo ensure it packs the punch associated with its style. This beer’s other DNA strand comes from a pure yeast strain bred for German Kolsch.

Bedlam Three Threads Tasting notes >
Bedlam Three Threads
Three Threads (5.6%)

Oak Aged Rye Porter. Fuggles & Golding hops in a wort rich in dark chocolate flavours & fermented with a traditional English ale yeast. Cold conditioned for months with seasoned oak chips & re-fermented with a special yeast for fruity, vanilla flavours.

It's a simple straightforward approach. We aim to brew the best beer that we can, using only the finest natural ingredients.

Bedlam currently offers 4 different cask beers on draft or by the bottle. Last year we brewed our first Lager brew, a German styled Pilsner, brewed to 4.2% available in keg and bottle. We are also really excited to have just launched our first kegged Pale Ale 4.8%. A sessionable Pale Ale that borrows inspiration from the US but uses UK grown hops, resulting in a refined, more delicate beer, yet still recognisable in style and packed with flavour. All of our beers are brewed using whole cone hops and the best barley malt we can find. In the case of our Harvest Ale "Pilgrim" we only use hops grown by us on the farm.

Based on our farm near Brighton, we feel passionately about our environment. All of the energy required for brewing comes from solar panels, we've planted and harvest our own hops, and we even supply local farmers with all of our spent grain and hops for FREE, which they then use as feed for their cattle.
